Volunteer Activities

Detroit Historical Society

Volunteering at The Detroit Historical Museum is a great opportunity for students
interested in all career fields.  Opportunities include, but not limited to, gallery guides,
assisting with the collections facility, lending a hand during Special Events in the
Cultural Center, such as Noel Night or Festival of the Arts.

Volunteer applications are available in the Career Resource Center at RHS.

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital

Volunteering as a Youth volunteer gives the student an opportunity to observe
the hospital setting if they are considering a medical career.  Among the duties
involved are feeding patients, escorting patients/visitors, making beds,
running errands for patients and staff, and discharging patients.

Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age with a GPA of at least 3.0.

Volunteer applications are available in the Career Resource Center at RHS.
