What exactly is a counselor, and what can they do for you?

Counselors promote and enhance the learning process for all student through an integration of:

  • Academic Development

  • Career Development

  • Personal / Social Development

A counselor is a personal adult advocate to help students personalize their educational experience.

Counselors focus on the individual student and his/her development needs.

Counselors guide students to make progress toward their educational and career goals.

Counselors collaborate with students, parents, and teachers to promote student success.

Counseling teaches students basic life skills.
