The following is a list of scholarships available to high school students.  Most scholarships applications are available in the Career Resource Center; however, some scholarships can only be applied for online.

You must plan on majoring in business administration, marketing, finance, accounting or international business to be eligible for this award.

Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship Sept. 30, 2008 HS Seniors (class of 2009)
Must have a superior caddie record for 2+ years.
Must rank in the upper quarter of your class, have above a "B" average in college prep classes, and have taken the ACT or SAT.
Must also demonstrate financial need, outstanding character, integrity and leadership to be eligible for this award.

Family Travel Forum Teen Travel Writing Scholarship Contest Sept. 22, 2008 HS Students enrolled in a high school in the US.
You must have taken the trip while you were age 12-18, and the trip must have been taken within the last three years.
Submit an essay of < 600 words and write about your travel experience.

Health Careers and Nursing Scholarship Oct. 31, 2008 US Citizen
HS Student
You must plan to study to gain skills in the field of healthcare careers such as nursing, medical assisting, veterinary technologies, dental assisting or other fields to be eligible for this award.

Michigan Mosquito Control Association (MMCA):  Kenley Farrel Memorial Scholarship Oct. 1, 2008 US Citizen and Michigan Resident

Siemens Competition Oct. 1, 2008 HS Seniors
The Siemens Competition is comprised of an individual competition and a team competition: the team competition consists of two to three members from any level in high school; individual and team entries will receive separate awards.
Submit a research project in mathematics, engineering, the biological and physical sciences or a combination of these disciplines.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required.

"Speak New Words" Music Video Contest Sept. 7, 2008 HS Students (at least 13 years of age)
US citizen; enrolled in a high school in the US
Create an audio-visual video, 1-4 minutes, in which you perform original (created by you) words (lyrics - spoken or sung) that will include 13 character traits that you believe are necessary in bringing about positive change in the community as well as inspiring your generation to greatness to be eligible for this award.
