ASVAB

The ASVAB test was held Wednesday February 5, 2008.

The ASVAB test assesses a students ability in the following areas: Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, General Science, Auto & Shop Information, Mechanical Comprehension, Electronics Information, Numerical Operations and Coding Speed. The test is administered by representatives from the armed forces with the help of the counseling staff. The ASVAB is NOT solely intended for students planning on pursuing a military career, but for ALL students. The test is one of the best career assessments available, and it is one of only a few that is available free of charge. If a teacher has the entire class take the assessment, a counselor will come to the class to interpret the test for all of the students. Please contact Mr. Salvatore for more information.

Students can find out their ASVAB results in the Career Resource Center or from Mr. Salvatore.
