guidance counselor about starting the application process now.

Ø      Examine financial resources, and gather information about financial aid.
Research scholarships.

register online at www.act.org or www.collegeboard.com

  1. College Applications

Ø      Pick up applications of schools you are interested in.
Available in the CRC.  Be prepared to pay for college application,
financial aid, and testing fees in the fall.

Ø      Discuss the college essay with your counselor or English teacher.
Help Packets are available in the CRC.

Ø      Consider whom you will ask to write your letters of recommendation.

Ø      Set up a filing system with individual folders for each college’s
correspondence and printed material.
